It also includes the creation of new looks for everyday and special events. In fashion, a certain trend becomes current after a period of time; it may be a cultural trend, a fashion statement or just a product of the creative imagination of designers.
A new dress, a new pair of footwear, a new haircut and a new makeup can be termed as a new fashion. A trend becomes current if it stimulates new purchases of the same item and it helps to generate interest in existing purchases of the same item.
