Amtrak Shooting in Tucson
After a train in Tucson was attacked by a gunman, passengers and law enforcement officers escaped in panic. Two suspects were taken into custody – one was a man who was found dead in the train car, and the other was in critical condition. A task force made up of DEA agents boarded the train car and searched for illegal drugs and money. The gunman had a felony record and was wanted by police for his involvement.

The shooting did not result in injuries to the 137 passengers and 11 crew members aboard the train, according to the Amtrak website. The train arrived at Tucson station at 7:40 a.m. Local time and all 137 passengers and 11 crew members were evacuated. Authorities did not release the identities of the suspects.
