    Full body checkup list: A Deep Insight

    ‘Health is wealth’- this is a known proverb for everyone. Because it takes not much time to make a healthy person sick. But, to recover, it won’t be that easier. ‘Prevention is better than cure’ – this is why we must take good care of our health. So, regular checkups are always suggested, and here included is a full body checkup list.

    Even if one feels healthy, there may be something hidden inside them, which may show up once they are weak. If the hidden health problems are diagnosed as earlier as possible, there are more chances to recover completely and quickly. A full body checkup is suggested for all individuals over the age of 35 years since we nowadays are going through tight schedules with a lack of proper exercise and poor diet.

    What is a full-body checkup? This includes a set of routine analyses performed for understanding the overall health of a person. With clinical laboratory services, the person can do health checkups or diagnostic scans of the complete body including internal organs such as the heart, lungs, liver, kidney, and more. This checkup will consider the individual’s medical history, family medical history, medications, surgery, lifestyle, age group, and more.

    Now, why full body checkup is required? Mainly, this helps you to understand how fit your body is and which part of the body needs attention. If any health problems are detected, necessary precautions can be taken either through medication or lifestyle changes. Also, early diagnosis of potential diseases will reduce the risk factor, increase lifespan, saves lifes, offer quick recovery, minimize financial burden, and more.

    Full body checkup list

    Here included is the complete body checkup list and some details on what you can monitor by running these full body checkup test lists. This full body checkup list may be varied slightly based on a person’s health condition and doctor’s prescription.

    CBC with ESR: This test also called Complete haemogram is performed by collecting blood samples to monitor parameters such as WBC, RBC and Platelet count, Haemoglobin, Haematocrit, MCV, MCH, MCHC, RDW, ESR, and  WBC differential. This test is done for diagnosing anemia, bleeding disorders, infections, arthritis, cancer, and more.

    Lipid Profile Test: This is a complete cholesterol test done on a collected blood sample that will measure the value of cholesterol and triglycerides. It is highly suggested for people with obesity, frequent smoking and alcohol drinking habits, and unhealthy lifestyles to perform this test for preventing or taking precautions against heart problems, atherosclerosis, and stroke.

    Cardiac Health: Chest X-Ray, ECG, 2D Echo Cardiography, Treadmill Test (TMT), etc… are commonly performed tests for analyzing heart health in a full body checkup list. Among these, ECG is the common test for understanding the heart’s rhythm and electrical activity  Exosomes Treatment. The 2D Echo Cardiography is a non-invasive test for monitoring the actual motion of the heart structures. TMT is a stress test for analyzing blood circulation in your heart and it is performed by doing exercise by walking on a treadmill.

    Urine Analysis: The urine sample will be analyzed based on different aspects such as color and appearance, chemical findings, and microscopic findings. This test is done for screening for urinary tract infections (UTIs),  liver disease, diabetes, and kidney diseases.

    Vitamin Check: This test measures the levels of vitamins or minerals in the collected blood or saliva sample.

    Abdominal Check: This includes ultrasonography of the abdomen & pelvis.

    Thyroid Function Tests: This diagnostic test measure the values of TSH, T3, and T4 for analyzing the functioning of the thyroid gland.

    Kidney Function: This test measures the values of blood urea, uric acid, and serum creatinine for monitoring the overall health of the Kidney.

    Liver Function tests:  The tests included for screening liver health are SGPT, SGOT, and Serum Bilirubin.

    Diabetes tests: Analyze the blood sample for monitoring glucose levels in the blood after and before taking food.

    Other tests included in the full body checkup list are pulmonary lung function tests, Hepatitis B tests, CT Calcium Scoring, stool routine, total body fat percentage, eye checkup, PSA, CT Screening of Neck Vessels, Bone Mineral Densitometry, and Sono-mammography & Pap smear.

    Top medical centers all over the world offer different tests in their health checkup package. But, always follow the list of full body checkups suggested by the physician. Also, it is highly recommended to perform regular health checkups on everyone over the age of 50 years.
