In August 2002, Karnail and Nilakumari Johal entered into a property purchase agreement for 240xx 108th Avenue SE in Kent, Washington. In mid-2003, plaintiffs Narinder and Harminder Samra asked to invest in the LLC. They came to the closing in August 2003 and contributed $200,000 toward the purchase price. The plaintiffs also signed handwritten documents related to the formation of the LLC.
The aggravated assault case landed Mr Johal in jail, where he was branded a “threat to society.” He lacked close friends and was callous to his associates. Despite his good intentions, the arrest triggered outrage and scepticism in the world. According to Constable Spencer, Mr Johal showed a “concern for himself and his new wife.” He also met Bal Buttar in prison.
